Today I'm honored to be speaking with Kate Doerge. Kate's daughter, Penny passed away in November 2022 from Neurofibromatosis (NF) - the most common genetic disorder in children, yet one of which there is still no cure.In the wake of Penny's passing, Kate, her husband Chad, their family, friends and Penny's friends founded the Penny's Flight Foundation. The work and mission of this foundation has turned into a national movement to find a cure for NF.
