Dyl & Friends

#39 Brendan Fevola

13 Apr 2020

Description

This is big, real big! I say this a lot but genuinely one of my favourite players of all time on the show - Brendan “The Fevolution” Fevola. For those of you who have been living under a rock - Brendan Fevola is a retired AFL player for for the Carlton & Brisbane Football Clubs, he was easily one of the games most exciting players on and off the field. He played 204 games and kicked 623 goals. He is a 2x Coleman Medalist and 3x All Australian. Fev was and still is one of the biggest names in footy and is now one of the stars on 101.9 The Fox breakfast radio show - Fifi Fev and Byron. We touch on it all, How he started his career: dreading going to Carlton, his favourite games and best moments for the Blues, favourite teammates, starting at fullback and playing on Fraser “G-Train” Gehrig, The Brownlow incident, leaving Carlton, heading to rehab and how he turned his life around. I cannot thank this guy enough for his time and generosity on the show! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Tune in!
