Episode 61: Kristen Bujnowski {Finding A Path To Team Canada}

This week I have the pleasure of bringing Team Canada Bobsleigh Brakeman Kristen Bujnowski onto the podcast. I absolutely loved this story. Wanting to compete for Canada from a young age, Kristen battled through enough adversity to break most athletes. Injuries, moving sports, barely missing out on the team, etc. etc. etc. until she finally pulled through and did it. .This is a true story of passion for sport & competition.  In our interview Kristen talks about the importance of her support system in her early days of competition. Having her coaches and family / friends around her when she missed out on making Team Canada the first time was a huge part of helping her push through and continue to strive towards that dream. This support system may not be family for everyone but it is CRUCIAL to have that around you if you are working towards anything big in your life. Having people you can turn to who believe in you and want to lift you up will help you in any difficult moments.Further, we discuss something that plagues many, many athletes out there. Overtraining.
