When you crave silence

It’s my habit to listen to guided meditation recordings or hypnosis recordings as I like the structure, direction and intention behind them. However there is part of me that craves sitting with myself, craves silence. I go through periods of avoiding it though as my mind can be so busy, so loud. I have to re-cultivate that habit of giving my mind time to settle. If you’ve never just sat before then start off with my four minute Reset Button MP3 to get you started but then after listening for seven days try setting a time on your phone for just four minutes and just sit. (You can download this for free from www.embracefertility.co.uk.)   Your mind may wonder, you may need to bring it back to your breath every split second but that’s okay it’s called mindfulness practice for a reason.
