On this episode I am joined by Leeann Passaro, COO of the Hidden Opponent, a non-profit and advocacy group addressing the stigma of mental health in sports culture focusing on awareness, education, and support for student-athletes. In our conversation, Leeann shares her own struggle with anxiety and depression as an athlete, and describes her experience after facing the loss of a friend to suicide at a young age. Leeann played collegiate soccer at Washington and Lee University and is now a high school teacher and coach, while handling operations for THO.
