Engineers play a huge role in helping manage water resources for drinking, irrigation, and agriculture uses, as well as recreational and ecological needs. Managing all of this water requires the construction and maintenance of water infrastructure. In this episode sit down with Rayna Belyk-Kaytor to talk about her career as an Environmental Systems engineer. Rayna is currently the Manager of the Project Engineering Group at the Water Security Agency. Her team is primarily responsible for engineering services and the rehabilitation of water infrastructure across the province of Saskatchewan. In our conversation Rayna talks about her career and how she got started working on the construction and maintenance of dams. She also offers advice to young people thinking about a career in engineering.
