03 Jul 2025

Description

KeShaun N. Harding is a licensed family nurse practitioner with over 14 years of experience and the founder of Obsidian Aura Med Spa, an award-winning medical spa in Tinley Park. A 2023 “40 under 40” honoree and member of BWPL and ISAPN, KeShaun combines her clinical expertise with a passion for mentorship, aesthetics, and entrepreneurship. After earning her Master’s in Nursing while raising a family, she launched her spa in 2021 and later created a mentorship program that has already helped others open successful clinics. Guided by faith and purpose, KeShaun is committed to empowering the Black community through leadership, self-care, and business coaching. In this episode, Dante and KeShaun discuss:What a medical spa is and the services Obsidian Aura Med Spa offersCommon misconceptions about med spas and their legitimacyKeShaun’s journey into entrepreneurship and leaving her full-time jobHer mentorship program and passion for growing Black businessesThe importance of legacy-building, self-care, and wellness investmentKey Takeaways: Medical spas go beyond luxury—they offer clinical treatments led by trained professionals. At Obsidian Aura Med Spa, clients receive medically-backed services like IV hydration and weight loss plans, delivered with both expertise and care.Entrepreneurship can be rooted in purpose, not profit, and still create impact. For KeShaun, the driving force behind launching her business was the desire to uplift others, not financial gain.KeShaun's mentorship accelerates business success by offering real-world guidance and removing barriers. She equips aspiring entrepreneurs with a clear roadmap while helping them avoid costly mistakes she learned firsthand.True wellness is an investment; you can’t pour from an empty cup. Clients are encouraged to prioritize their health and self-care as essential—not optional—parts of long-term well-being.Building generational knowledge and wealth starts with modeling better choices for our children. KeShaun believes that setting strong examples today paves the way for future generations to thrive with intention and purpose.“Those who are serious about their health and longevity, disposable income is probably necessary because the services can get expensive. We invest in so many different things that aren't necessarily beneficial to our health and longevity, so they have to be prepared to invest in their health, their wellness, or their self-care. We can't pour from an empty cup.” - KeShaun HardingConnect with KeShaun Harding:Website: https://oamedspa.org/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ObsidianAuraMedSpa Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/obsidian_auramedspa/ Connect with Dante Royster:Website: https://www.danteroyster.com/Epic Mortgage Website: Epic Mortgage, Inc.
