EFR 478: From Fitness Stage to Center Stage and How Mindset Can Both Help and Hinder You with Savannah Lynx

20 May 2021

Description

Savannah Lynx is a singer/songwriter and fitness model. In this conversation, she discusses how she successfully made the leap from the world of pageantry into music and entertainment. Savannah reflects on how singing and performance had always been her calling. She hearkens back to her college days at Fordham, remembering that "without music as the centerpoint of my life, I really lost it. I wasn't engaged in class. I wasn't excited. I wasn't working out. It was the keystone that put my life together and made me realize who I was and who I wanted to be." At the age of 21, she was inspired—to her parents' disappointment—to put her college education on hold, fly from New York to L.A., and pursue her music career seriously. Along the way, her ever-present passion for fitness helped her win the coveted titles of Miss Las Vegas International Model Search and Miss Swimsuit USA International. Listen in as Savannah dives deep into her mindset toward success in both her career and life as a whole. Aside from sharing what she loves about both listening to and making music, she also talks health, nutrition, and setting fitness goals not just for the sake of aesthetics, but for energy and longevity.   Follow Savannah @savannahlynx Follow Chase @chase_chewning   Episode resources: Save 20% on The Good face serum from Caldera Lab with code EVERFORWARD at https://calderalab.com/everforward  Learn more at https://chasechewning.com/podcasts/episode/478
