No. We've all been wearing, everyone in the Shameless Media office has been wearing stripes except for Michelle Andrews and Zara McDonald. And Zara McDonald.
Because you didn't end up telling Zara about it. No, no. I said both can get pranked. Both can get pranked. Nobody has said anything. Nobody has noticed. So we're in limbo at the moment.

And last week I said like we need to be a little bit subtle and so stripes was a good one to do. But I feel we're too subtle. Like they're not going to notice and so we need to do a reveal. The feeling was so strong, I warned my bestie later, but she was dismissive and went on to say how wonderful, wealthy and generous he was. He'd let them stay in his holiday home on the beach for free whenever they placed. Okay. Cut to now. She recently admitted he's somewhere overseas and has gone completely MIA. What a con man.
Dude, this sounds like I literally just recorded Shameless an hour ago. And have you heard about what's happening with Katie Price? No. I won't explain it. If you don't know, just listen to the most recent episode of Shameless. But it's essentially this. Katie Price, people think she's getting scammed by this con man. I love it when you can just tell that someone's got an off vibe.
I think I've got this superpower. Me too. With men. Is it because, and maybe I'm putting words in your mouth, but maybe with some men it's like innocent... No, it's the opposite of innocent until proven guilty. Yes. No, I actually am quite open to the idea of good men, surprise, because I'm very, like, pessimistic. Oh, they exist. No, no, absolutely.
I go into every interaction being like, this is probably a good man. And then it's like, yeah, it is a bit guilty until proven innocent. But I think it's probably because I was just exposed, like co-ed education growing up, lots of brothers. I think I was around a lot of men. And so I think I've got a good read on them. But I see this happening to me, shaking someone's hand and being like.
She was disgusted. And that is not you, Shushi. overreacting or like being too sensitive to someone's vibe. I think it's the other person is exuding something that's not good. Because if you have to describe someone, let me find it. This person described someone, keywords were wonderful, wealthy, generous. That's just like, oh, do we just like him because he's rich?
Yeah, literally.
And like tea, I guess. But there were no other really kind words aside from wonderful. But is he wonderful because he's wealthy and generous? Yeah, and he has a beach house. We don't know. And then he wasn't. Sorry. And then he didn't even turn out. To be wealthy potentially. Maybe he's just scamming people.

But I was like panicking because I was like, am I so late that like Zara's sitting over there and like, oh my God, is she filling in for me? Like I was like, how late is this? And then Annabelle just like pulls me out of it and she's just like, is that coffee for me? Give me the coffee date.
And I was like, it's Wednesday.
It's Wednesday. But it just has meant that because it's like a strong coffee, a strong second coffee that you get me, that I am buzzing every time we record, Ehas. Which is great. Yeah. Anyway. Anyway. Secret three. This one reads, I had an intuitive moment about a major car incident. Oh no. Okay.
My gut feeling hit me so strongly late one night when I was driving home from my partner's place at 1am. I drive the same way home every single night, like clockwork, but something felt off that night. I can't explain it, but I just felt so weird about the route I was taking. So at the lights, where I would usually always turn right, for the first time ever, I went straight.
I recall even looking at the clock and reading 1.11am. I woke up the next morning to the news that there was a carjacking at the exact intersection I had avoided at 1.14am. Oh my god. I could have been placed in extreme danger. Call it intuition, but I reckon I had an angel on my shoulder that night. This all of a sudden became like a true crime podcast. Wow. Yeah. That's spooky.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Has anything like this ever happened to you before? No. No. No. How would you feel if this had happened to you? I think this would rock my world. I think I'd probably go see a psychic or something straight after. Yeah. Has a psychic, because you see psychics, Ruby. Yeah. Has a psychic ever told you anything spooky?
Yeah, not like this. They've never predicted anything negative to happen. You know how some of them might talk about death and like when you could die in that moment. I've never had any of those experiences. Yeah, I try and go for the gratitude and the positive affirmation. Fair enough.

Incredible. Okay. He seemed lovely and caring at the start, buying her flowers, cooking her dinner. We all thought she'd finally bagged a winner.
But for some reason it felt a little too good to be true. They got very close very quickly. So one night I let it slip when we were out together that something just felt off about him. She got angry and annoyed that I couldn't just be happy for her. To be fair, I had nothing to go off but my gut feeling, so I apologised and never mentioned it again.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, shit. Apparently, after his game, she went to the club room, but he insisted she wait in his car until he finished up. She waited and waited and eventually ended up going back in after nearly an hour and caught him with another girl on his lap. No! Turns out he'd had a girlfriend the entirety of their relationship. Now she vets all the men she meets through me. Sometimes a bestie just knows.
And funnily enough, she's now a queer queen dating a beautiful gal. Wow. Okay, okay. So I want to ask you firstly, because that was a rollercoaster. Very much so. If you had a gut feeling about your friend's new boo, but it was just a gut feeling and like, but per his actions, he was just a good dude, you know, cooking dinner, flowers, the whole damn thing.
Would you tell them if it was just a gut feeling that you thought he was kind of a bit dodge? I have a gut feeling about one of my friend's like situations right now. But she is really like loving it. And so I've tried expressing. You can only try so hard before it's just like they'll stop opening up. How did you try to tell her? I hate this vibe was a direct quote. Subtle. I hate this vibe.
I know this man's tricks. Like I was saying, I was just, and she was like, how do you know this? And I was like, well, because I've seen it before. And I think that that's what gut instinct is based off of, right? It's based off of experiences, surely. And like you get wiser the more experiences you have and then you're able to clock it quicker. Yeah. Yeah, that's probably it.

And I remember being like... What's wrong? Like looking at him and like, you know, and you just like feel it inside. And he was just being shady. And I don't even know.
We probably just had like a weird chat and then I moved on. But I felt something inside that I couldn't shake.
I've never had it. I will do anything I can to ignore my gut. Interesting. Like looking back on past relationships, I'm like, whoa, that was clear as day. They did not like me. I just can't see it when I'm in it. Interesting. What about you? I had a really weird gut feeling situation a while ago. I'm not too sure how, like, the way you say that. We know what you're talking about.
I had a really weird gut situation where my friend was talking about someone I used to see and she was just like, oh, you don't even want to know about her. And then I just knew. I was like, oh, you knew the thing. It landed in my head fully formed. My friend was like, I don't want to talk about it. Like, you don't even want to know what she's been doing.
And I was like, oh, she must have had sex with that guy. But this is a thought that I had never had before, ever. But you knew in the moment.
But I just knew in the moment.
And then you got confirmation later. And then I got confirmation like months later. And I was just like, wow, that's powerful. But I do think that in that moment, my brain just went to, what's the worst thing that she could do? What's the worst thing she could do and has she done it? Probably. Yeah. Oh, I'm kind of disappointed in my gut. I've never had a moment. I've never had an aha moment.
