We Were Liars

Lisa and her guest Molly Shea discuss,  We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. This is a mystery about the ultra-wealthy family the Sinclairs. Cadence Sinclair Eastman is the eldest daughter of the Sinclair family. The entire family spends each summer on the island and one summer a mystery occurs.  As a result of this mystery, we meet Cadence who suffers from extreme migraines and takes painkillers daily. Lisa and her guest talk about the characters, and whether the “surprise twist,” at the end is believable. There will be major plot spoilers at 20 minutes into the show. In the New York Times piece, the publication says the novel didn’t dig deep into the characters' actual personalities.
