Josh Stanley

Josh Stanley is a leading medical cannabis entrepreneur and advocate working to advance the medical cannabis industry in the United States and throughout the world.  Josh has worked in the medical cannabis industry for over eight years and was one of the first individuals to open a medical marijuana dispensary in Denver, Colorado.  Josh's history in medical cannabis includes starting Colorado's first medical marijuana political action committee, the Medical Marijuana Industry Group: drafting the first House Bill 1284 and he was responsible for writing the research and development portion of House Bill 1043. In addition to this Josh also sat on the Rules and Regulations Board for the Colorado Department of Revenue's Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division. Josh and his brothers bread a non-psychoactive cannabinoids rich strain of cannabis plant with low THC content, which became known as Charlotte's Web. This Specialised variate of medical cannabis is now classified as hemp and has proven to be beneficial for varying degrees of epilepsy in both paediatric and adult patients. Josh and his brother's efforts to help children restore their lives with Charlotte's Web hemp extracts, has made international headlines including several nationally aired documentaries including Sanjay Gupta's CNN series WEED and WEED 2.
