It’s time to unscrew, uncork or saber a bottle and let’s begin Exploring the Wine Glass!  Today’s episode is taking us deep into the heart of France, to a region that’s often misunderstood, occasionally underestimated, but absolutely unforgettable—yep, we're diving into Beaujolais! 🍷 I recently attended an incredible seminar in Los Angeles that focused on the geology of Beaujolais—and let me tell you, it was next-level nerdy in the best way possible. We’re talking over 300 different soil types identified across the region. Yes, three hundred! And if you think that’s wild, just wait until you hear how those soils express themselves in the glass. We tasted through nine wines—three wines each from three distinct soil types—and the differences were mind-blowing. This is the kind of wine geekery that’s so fascinating, it becomes borderline addictive. Trust me, you’ll never look at Gamay the same way again. I’ve broken the seminar down into two parts because, well, the terroir talk is just that juicy.
