Alex Rich, Actor

Margie talks with her former student, actor Alex Rich.  Alex was nominated for a 2019 Critics’ Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance alongside Antonio Banderas in the Fox 21 / Nat Geo limited series GENIUS: PICASSO (exec. produced by Ron Howard & Brian Grazer). Prior to GENIUS, Alex played a supporting lead role in the Lionsgate Digital feature film THE HONOR LIST and began his career in the second season of HBO’s TRUE DETECTIVE. He is often recognized for his recurring role on the critically acclaimed Netflix comedy series GLOW, where he plays the dim-witted but lovable butler, "Florian,” and currently stars alongside Steve Carell and Domhnall Gleeson as Elias in FX’s new hit series, THE PATIENT, on Hulu.  Alex shares many audition stories, his process for self-tapes, and his experience working with Antonio Banderas. Insta:  alexjordanrichTwitter:  @alexjordanrich
