Today’s guest is Chanelle Pattinson an IFA from P&P invest Ltd, we talk about her journey as a young female in the financial planning profession and how being the only female her age at a PFS conference sparked the idea of creating an online community for young women in financial planning. Chanelle is not out to man bash, she is hugely appreciative of the support and guidance received from men within the profession including her father who is also a financial planner, the community is about creating a space where women feel comfortable asking questions to a group of likeminded similar aged women. collaboration not competition! we also talk in depth about the role of paraplanner and how this can differ company to company.
