Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
Prepare to shovel. I'm Daria Albinger, Fox News. The Northeast is once again bracing for a major nor'easter. This one, a bomb cyclone that'll barrel up the coast starting tomorrow. Fox meteorologist Adam Klutz.
Chapter 2: What weather events are impacting the Northeast this weekend?
March 2017, that is the last time New York City saw a blizzard warning. We have one out there right now, including much of the New Jersey coast, getting into portions of Connecticut. All areas kind of right along the coast that the weather looks like it could be the worst. But it is going to stretch up and down the I-95 corridor, and it really is kind of an all-day event.
You're already seeing some of that heavy snow from D.C., Philadelphia, running up to New York. This lasts throughout the day on Sunday, Sunday night, and then through a large chunk of Monday as well, Monday morning, and then taking the entire day to clear on out. So this is going to be a fairly long event. New York City, Philadelphia and Boston could see up to a foot of snow.
Video from neighbors and doorbells and security systems is now the focus of the investigation into Nancy Guthrie's disappearance. They're sifting through tens of thousands of tips in the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie's mother. Fox's Max Gordon in Tucson.
Laborers here have been told to send in any surveillance footage that looks suspicious from between January 1st through February 2nd, though it's unclear when authorities or if authorities will be releasing any additional footage. Meanwhile, investigators say they aren't ruling out the possibility that multiple people might have been involved in Nancy Guthrie's disappearance.
This as investigators try to identify the person seen on Nancy Guthrie's doorbell camera. He's described by investigators as being between 5'9 and 5'10 and the only article of clothing that law enforcement has positively identified is his Ozark Trail backpack, a product line available at Walmart.
Investigators are currently working to identify other items he was wearing and where he might have purchased them. It's been almost four weeks since the mother of the Today Show co-host was last seen. America's listening to Fox News. Students across the country took part in anti-ICE walkouts earlier this week. Many have been suspended, some even arrested.
One of the protests created a terrifying moment for a student in a town near Chicago. Here's Fox's Chanley Painter. It was a scary situation Tuesday. An 11-year-old special needs student was found wandering alone miles away from school after a student-led walkout protesting U.S. immigration and customs enforcement.
Anti-ice protests have been increasingly popping up on school campuses across the country after the shooting deaths of Rene Good and Alex Preddy involving federal agents in Minneapolis. This incident happening outside of Chicago at Dundee Middle School, where Richard Harley is a sixth grader.
His mother saying her son called her in a panic to her surprise because she was not notified about the walkout and because her son has special needs and an individualized education program is left wondering why her son was allowed to leave school without supervision or parental authorization. The school district says safety was top of mind and that some students left campus without authorization.
