Evacuation flights underway on Lisa Brady, Fox News, the State Department working to get Americans who want to leave the Middle East out in several ways in countries without commercial options, facilitating travel to third countries as conditions allow, preparing military and charter flights, also helping U.S. citizens to book tickets in countries that still have commercial options available.

The president says he believes attacking Iran prevented an imminent attack by Iran in the Middle East.
And somebody had to do it. And it should have been done sometime during a 47-year period because so much death has been caused by them. Adding that true peace in the Middle East would not have been possible with Iran's nuclear and missile programs. The president's criticizing some European allies for not backing U.S. airstrikes on Iran.
President Trump is threatening to cut off all trade with Spain and impose other economic punishments after the country's leader denied the use of an airbase to launch attacks on Iran. They were unfriendly. And so I told him we don't want to. Spain has absolutely nothing that we need other than great people. They have great people, but they don't have great leadership.
Hosting the German chancellor in the Oval Office, the president was also critical of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, saying he's no Churchill. Fox is Jared Halpern at the White House. The British prime minister is sending a warship to the region for defensive purposes after a drone hit a UK base in Cyprus.

Chapter 2: What actions is President Trump taking regarding Iran and Spain?
There's been no word of any injuries. The U.S. has been using something in battle it's never used before. The Pentagon confirmed its first use of one-way drones, the low-cost unmanned combat attack system, or LucasDrone. It costs about $35,000 to make. That's compared... to a minimum $30 million cost for an MQ-9 Reaper drone, though that type is reusable.
The Lucas drone was created by Arizona-based Spectreworks. It's based in large part on another company model, but was also partially based on reverse engineering the Iranian Shahed-136 drone. Lucas is apparently much lighter, though. Last year, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth released a directive to unleash U.S.

A federal judge gives preliminary approval to a multi-million dollar class action settlement sought by Jeffrey Epstein victims.
A $35 million class action settlement has been reached between Jeffrey Epstein's victims and the late sex offender's estate, according to court documents. Manhattan-based U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian said the agreement appeared fair and scheduled a hearing for September to consider granting final approval.
The deal would bring an end to a 2024 lawsuit accusing the Epstein estate's co-executors of facilitating his, quote, sex trafficking and abuse, saying they played a role in, quote, allowing Epstein to escape justice for years by concealing his litany of crimes. The co-executors have denied the allegations. Epstein died in a New York City jail in August 2019. His death was ruled a suicide.
