A synagogue attack in Michigan on Lisa Brady. It happened at Temple Israel in the Detroit suburb of West Bloomfield Township. At least one individual came to the temple. Security saw him, engaged him in gunfire. Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard, after what started as a car ramming, the suspect's vehicle catching fire after crashing into the synagogue.
They're not confirming yet if the suspect fired any shots or exactly what killed him.

We can't get into a lot of that stuff, but he breached the building, drove down the hall, and he was engaged by security. They're also investigating the cause of the fire and checking the vehicle for possible explosive devices. A security guard was hit by the car and injured, but all of the children and staff who were there in an early learning center...
The Temple Israel says a family reunification center has been set up for parents to pick up their children as other area organizations remain on lockout protocols. Fox's Jeff Manasso, a shelter-in-place order also still in effect around the area.

Earlier today, a shooting at Old Dominion University in Virginia. Two people critically injured before that gunman was killed in a business school building. No confirmation yet of how that shooter died or any word on a possible motive. Iran's state media releasing the first statement said to be from the new supreme leader, not read by him, vowing revenge for U.S.
and Israeli attacks and saying they'll keep the Strait of Hormuz effectively closed until fighting ends. Yesterday, the president announced plans to release 172 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to bring down prices after the International Energy Agency's 32 member countries approved a release of 400 million barrels from global reserves to stabilize supply.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune accusing Democrats of refusing to negotiate over their demands for ICE reforms. But Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is pressing Republicans to support a proposal for all other DHS funding except for ICE and CBP. Who's standing in the way? America, look at it. We're not putting any preconditions on funding TSA. The Republicans are.
Some Republicans suggesting short-term funding for all DHS agencies. An injunction against a California law meant to protect kids online is tossed out on appeal as a legal fight continues.
Chapter 7: How does the California Age Appropriate Design Code Act affect online safety for children?
Reuters reports a federal appeals court threw out most of an injunction blocking California from enforcing the California Age Appropriate Design Code Act. Signed into law in 2022, California Attorney General Rob Bonta says the measure aims to protect children from harmful online content and requires tech companies to safeguard young users' information.
NetChoice, an online trade association representing companies Google, Meta, Amazon, and Twitter, suing over it, alleging the law violates free speech rights. The suit has bounced around in the courts, but the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling NetChoice was unlikely to prove that the act Join Fox in supporting our troops.
