As the U.S. and Israel continue to target Iran, warnings are issued to U.S. citizens in Iraq to leave following Tehran's attack on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad. The U.S. embassy in Iraq is warning all U.S. citizens to leave the country immediately. as Iran-aligned militias ramp up attacks on American targets.
The warning comes hours after a missile struck a helipad inside the embassy in Baghdad. This as President Trump now says Iran is ready to negotiate a ceasefire, but he claims the terms aren't good enough yet to make a deal. The president also urging other nations to help the U.S. secure the Strait of Hormuz by sending warships to the Middle East.
Tehran is greatly disrupting shipping in the vital waterway, sending ripple effects through the global economy. At least 17 vessels have reportedly been attacked across the region since the war began. Fox's Chanley Painter reporting. President Trump told NBC he is hearing Iran's new Supreme Leader, Machaba Khamenei, may already be dead.
Trump added he is unsure whether the new Iranian leader is still living. There's been no official confirmation as to the status or whereabouts of Khamenei. Americans have been concerned on the recent gas prices that have been slowly increasing since Operation Epic Fury started.

On Friday, a federal judge blocked the DOJ's criminal probe into Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's Senate testimony regarding the central bank's headquarters renovation, writing the subpoenas were a, quote, mere pretext to pressure the Fed. Snow for portions of the Midwest this evening into Monday. Heavy snow may occur in parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
