service members wounded in addition to the seven who've been killed. Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer accuses the president of risking Americans' safety and the world's economic stability based on whims. It's dangerous. It's incompetent. It's sort of like a second grader running this war.
Also predicting the new supreme leader won't be inclined to give up leverage over the critical Strait of Hormuz. President Trump just posting again about that narrow passage, this time warning that if Iran has placed any mines there, they should be removed immediately or face military consequences. Oil prices tumbling today, but stocks also finished lower, the Dow down 34 points.

A police officer hospitalized and a suspect is dead in Baltimore after a shooting during a barricade situation. Baltimore officers responded to a burglary call at a home, and when they responded, one officer was hit by gunfire. Another officer applied a tourniquet, and the doctor who treated him said the officer is now in stable condition.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said when officers got closer to the home, a female victim jumped out of a window. After the person jumped out the window, the suspect still had a hostage and appeared at the window multiple times with the gun pointed at the young lady's head.
