The implications of developments in the Middle East for the U.S. economy are uncertain. still forecasting only one rate cut this year while leaving interest rates unchanged today. An Israeli official says Khatib was responsible for operation of the global terror apparatus, including sleeper cells, and he had American blood on his hands. Khatib is said to be a survivor of that initial strike in the war when 40 Iranian leaders were killed at the meeting of the defense council. Fox's Mike Tobin in Tel Aviv.

The zoo's director says the man was in the enclosure for a minute or two before being noticed by staff and didn't try to run away when police were called. The zoo says the hippos appeared slightly startled but weren't touched by the man.
