The Iranians have been launching missiles both at northern and southern Israel today. That's Fox's Trey Engst in Tel Aviv. Israel has shot down many of Iran's missiles since the war began. Again, this barrage comes hours after Iran elevated a new supreme leader.
Mostaba Khamenei, the son of Iran's former supreme leader who was killed in the opening strikes of Operation Epic Fury. Mostaba Khamenei is a hardliner who has a history of ties to the IRGC and besieged forces. He was the gatekeeper for his father and widely known as the Shadow Prince.
And Iran's been attacking other Gulf countries that have used facilities again, killing more than 30 civilians in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia. They've been hit, too. And we're learning of another American death from this war.
That seventh service member, the name has not yet been released because his family has not been notified yet, died from wounds by an Iranian drone attack in Saudi Arabia. 3,000 targets by the U.S. have been hit in Iran in the first week of the fighting. War Secretary Pete Hegseth says the war is just beginning for America, and now that the U.S.
has air superiority, they'll be able to use more conventional bombs. Fox's Steve Harrigan in Armenia. All of this spooking financial markets even more. The price of crude oil has risen above $100 a barrel for the first time since 2022. Millions of barrels could be trapped in the Gulf as tankers can't or won't transit the Strait of Hormuz.
