As Iran blocks Western oil shipments in the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. struck Iran's Karg Island, the main hub for Iranian oil exports. US Central Command says it destroyed naval mine storage facilities and ballistic missile supplies on Karg Island.

Chapter 2: How are U.S. and Israeli airstrikes affecting the conflict with Iran?

The US and Israeli airstrikes continue pretty much around the clock. They've hit Tehran and Isfahan. Israel says they killed several senior intelligence officials today. Meanwhile, Iran's cluster munitions continue penetrating Israel's air defense. Today, two people are hurt, including a 12-year-old boy from a cluster bomb in the southernmost town of Eilat.
