U.S. CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper ahead of another Pentagon update next hour. He says they've severely degraded Iran's air defenses and destroyed hundreds of missiles, launchers, and drones and sunk 17 ships.
For decades, the Iranian regime has harassed international shipping. Today, there's not a single Iranian ship underway in the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, or Gulf of Oman. My concern about fuel shipments have lifted prices of oil and gasoline. AAA's national average for regular up nine more cents this morning, 20 cents in two days to 319 per gallon. Iran keeps counterattacking, targeting U.S.
facilities in the region, prompting the State Department to urge Americans to leave countries there. Six U.S. troops have been killed.
Chapter 2: How have U.S. airstrikes impacted Iran's military capabilities?
Fox's Mark Meredith reports. The Pentagon releasing the names of four of the six killed, which include 35-year-old Captain Cody Cork of Florida, Sergeant's First Class Nicole Amor of Minnesota, she was 39, 42-year-old Noah T. Jens of Nebraska, and 20-year-old Declan Cody of Iowa. Nicole's husband speaking with the Associated Press quoted, for her to be one of the first, it hurts.
And Iran is also getting ready to mourn their dead supreme leader killed over the weekend with a three-day funeral. Fox's Trey Yingst reports. In neighboring Iraq in the city of Najaf, the birthplace of Iran's former Ayatollah, there was a symbolic funeral procession held today where people were chanting against the United States and cheering for the Iranian regime.
It is a symbolic funeral, which we consider a condemnation of the forces of tyranny, imperialism, and the Americans. A Republican congressman in Texas has been primaried out. Dan Crenshaw defeated by Republican challenger Steve Toth. GOP Senator John Cornyn headed for a runoff against State Attorney General Ken Paxton. Neither got 50% in the Republican primary.

Sentenced to six and a half years in prison, and then Jose Melgar Rivas will be deported. He pleaded guilty to assaulting immigration agents and resisting arrest.
On Wall Street, stock futures have been rising modestly, coming off a sell-off. At one point, the Dow was plunging over 1,000 points, but it closed down yesterday to only 400.
