This is Jonathan Hunt. Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Savannah Guthrie, has been missing for six days. The Pima County Sheriff's Office says she was forcibly removed from her home early Sunday morning. The White House responding after a video depicting former President Obama and his wife Michelle as primates was posted to President Trump's True Social account.
The president did take it down. He spoke with lawmakers today out of respect for them, including Senator Tim Scott. The post was removed. Secretary Caroline Leavitt on Fox's The Ingram Angle, who said a White House staffer made the post, and it was a repost of a longer video about alleged voting abnormalities.
Senator Tim Scott, the Senate's only black Republican, said this morning that he hoped it was fake because it was the most racist thing he ever saw coming out of this White House. A federal judge has ruled the Trump administration must keep funds flowing to child care subsidies and other social service programs in five Democratic-controlled states, at least for now.

Following a lengthy discussion with prosecutors and defense lawyers, Judge Gregory Caro set Luigi Mangione's New York State murder trial for June 8th. Mangione's lawyers objected to the June date, telling the judge that at that time they'll be consumed with preparing for Mangione's federal trial, which is set to start on September 8th. Mangione also spoke out in court in protest of the date, telling the judge, quote, it's the same trial twice, double jeopardy by any common sense definition. Lawmakers in Indiana are considering changes to the state alert system in response to the death of a teenager.
