An update on Operation Epic Fury, day 14. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. We're going up. They're going down. And War Secretary Pete Hegseth just said this will be the most intense day of strikes on Iran yet. We're on plan to defeat, destroy, disable all of their meaningful military capabilities at a pace. The world has never seen before.
Adding Iran soon won't even be able to make more missiles and drones. And Hegseth says this about Iran's leaders. Desperate and hiding, they've gone underground, cowering.
Chapter 2: What did War Secretary Pete Hegseth say about Iran's military capabilities?
That's what rats do. We know the new so-called not-so-supreme leader is wounded. and likely disfigured. The secretary spoke hours after the U.S. military confirmed four Americans were killed in a mid-air collision in Iraq involving refueling planes. Two other service members are missing. Here's the military's top general, Joint Chiefs Chairman Dan Koehn.
The incident occurred over friendly territory in western Iraq while the crew was on a combat mission and again was not the result, as CENTCOM has said, was not the result of hostile or friendly fire. Back to the secretary. He also just said the military keeps investigating if it was a U.S. strike earlier in the conflict that damaged a school that Iran says killed more than 100 students.
Hegseth says unlike Iran, the U.S. Never targets civilians. Literally never targets civilians. The day after a man drove a truck into a Michigan synagogue near Detroit and started shooting and then was shot and killed by security guards, we're learning... He was born in Lebanon, entered the U.S. in 2011, and became a U.S. citizen in 2016.
According to the Dearborn Heights mayor where the suspect lived, he lost several members of his family, including his niece and nephew, in an airstrike this weekend in Lebanon as part of the war in Iran. That's Fox's Madison Scarpino outside the synagogue. An attacker was also killed at Old Dominion University in Virginia after shooting an instructor dead and wounding two others.

Now more on that attack at Old Dominion University and who carried it out. The FBI has taken the lead in the search for more information on Muhammad Jalloh. Police say he killed one person and wounded two others prior to ROTC students subduing Jalloh. Special agent in charge of the FBI's Norfolk office, Dominique Evans, said there's a lot they want to find out.
We obviously are going to dig in, and this is why we need the public support to where he may have been before this, who he may have been in contact with, if he had any other supporters, anybody providing him information. Jallow was a former National Guardsman. He was sentenced to prison for providing support to ISIS in 2017. He was released in 2024.
