This officer not only needs to be fired and suspended, but based on the video, he needs to be charged with murder. That's Congressman Dan Goldman.
Minneapolis' Mayor Jacob Frey, also a Democrat, is urging ICE to get the bleep out of his city. President Trump also watched at least one of the videos. In Fox's Aisha Hosni reports from the White House.
Chapter 2: What happened during the fatal shooting incident in Minneapolis?
He is saying that it seems the officer shot the woman in self-defense. And in an interview with The New York Times as well, he says this, quote, I want to see nobody get shot. I want to see nobody screaming and trying to run over policemen either. That was a vicious situation that took place. His Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem, says that this was an act of domestic terrorism.
Nome says the woman shot, Renee Good, had stalked agents, refused to comply with orders and drove toward the officer. There's a manhunt in Salt Lake City, Utah for the gunman who opened fire last night outside a church where inside, this man says there was a viewing for his cousin. That passed away just a couple of days ago and tragic happened. Four of my other cousins got shot.
There were eight people shot and all two died. Three are in critical condition. Days after the U.S. operation in Venezuela capturing Nicolas Maduro, the leader, there's a vote in the Senate on a war powers resolution pushed by Democrats trying to limit future military action there.
Tomorrow, President Trump plans to meet with oil company executives discussing building production back up in Venezuela.
Chapter 3: What are the reactions from local officials regarding the shooting?
Energy Secretary Chris Wright just told Fox Business it's not just the companies helping. The interim authorities in Venezuela, they're very interested in how they can get their oil industry back going forward again. not only to stabilize and grow production, but to get the corruption out of it.

Chapter 4: What claims were made about the officer's actions during the shooting?
House Republicans may go against President Trump today in two votes to override the first two vetoes of his second term. Both bills the president refused to sign passed with so much bipartisan support, it was by voice, not recorded vote. One funds a clean water project in Colorado. The other involves Florida Everglades protection.
A few other GOP lawmakers are going against the president on a controversial health care issue. Nine Republicans voted with Democrats on a procedural motion for a three-year extension of the Affordable Care Act tax credits. The House will now tee up a vote today on the plan. Republican Congressman Mike Lawler supported the move and slammed both parties.
All of this could have been avoided if we could have put a bipartisan compromise bill on the floor. While it's likely to pass, it stands little chance of getting 60 votes in the Senate. But Lawler hopes a compromise is possible, as bipartisan talks are still happening on the COVID-era subsidies that impact over 20 million Americans. On Capitol Hill, Ryan Schmelz, Fox News.
President Trump has already put foreign funding under scrutiny, scaling some of that spending back, and now he's taking more action that will affect the U.N. The U.S. is leaving and withdrawing funding from 66 global organizations, 31 affiliated with the United Nations, including the Framework Convention on Climate Change.

First-time jobless claims rose by 8,000 last week to 208,000, and the number of Americans continuing to collect jobless benefits increased by 56,000 to 1.91 million.
