He is saying that it seems the officer shot the woman in self-defense. And in an interview with The New York Times as well, he says this, quote, I want to see nobody get shot. I want to see nobody screaming and trying to run over policemen either. That was a vicious situation that took place. His Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem, says that this was an act of domestic terrorism.

Nome says the woman shot, Renee Good, had stalked agents, refused to comply with orders and drove toward the officer. There's a manhunt in Salt Lake City, Utah for the gunman who opened fire last night outside a church where inside, this man says there was a viewing for his cousin. That passed away just a couple of days ago and tragic happened. Four of my other cousins got shot.
