Chapter 1: Who is Paddy Pimblett and what is his current UFC status?
all right boys we got a fucking sick pod today ufc fight week we got patty the baddie on the pod it's been a long time in the making we've been going back and forth for like i look today like two or three years so you come a long way so i'm pumped to have you on bro
Yeah, you're not wrong. It is a long time in the making, looking forward to this. But yeah, in them last three years, been some big developments in my career and my life. So it's probably better that we've waited a little bit longer. We've got more to talk about. How do you like Miami? I love it. What's your first impressions? It's great.
I mean, we've only been here for less than 48 hours and it's a great city. It's probably my favourite city. This and San Diego, I think are my two favourite cities.
Ever since COVID too, Miami completely changed. So every time I come to fights here, they're, like, so fucking electric. So I think you're going to love fighting in the Miami atmosphere.
I make it electric anyway, you know that.
I saw you say on the interview, you did an interview recently, you were saying, like, there's a ton of fans in the Miami area. You've been getting, like, recognized.
Yeah, I've been in quite a few pitches already, been getting some very nice words spoken to me. I can't wait to walk out. I was saying yesterday on an interview that Chandler trains in Miami. And if it was anyone else fighting him, he'd probably be an away fighter and get booed.
Is that weird for you? Coming from overseas and coming to America and being like the hometown crowd is for you?
No. I think anywhere I go, when my music comes on, everyone just wants to be a part of the party. The Paddy Party. So... It's just gonna be like any other night.

Chapter 2: What are Paddy Pimblett's thoughts on fighting Michael Chandler?
lightweight's always been the most lightweight's always been yeah apart from light heavyweight years ago when I was growing up when you had like Rampage Shogun Rashad that was what light heavyweight Forrest Griffin yeah those were the days they were the days that's when I was really started watching UFC that's when I first started watching UFC Machida yeah all of them yeah
I know what you mean with Pereira losing the belt. The UFC probably didn't want that to happen because he is a big star, Pereira. That was the first fight I've watched him live as well, and he got beat by Ankalayev. It's one of them. The best in the world are going to have the belt. That's just the way it is, especially with the UFC. It's not like boxing where you have five different belts.
You have one belt in each weight class, and they are the best in the world, whoever has that belt. But I don't think you need to have a belt to be a star. Definitely not. Definitely not. Not me. I'm only ranked 12. But I've got like three and a half million followers. But I've got more followers than most champs have. And then even Ilya now, he's a star. But he hasn't got a belt.
He's a big star too. You know what I mean? Kamzat. Everybody loves Kamzat. Kamzat hasn't got a belt. Stuff like that. I don't think you need a belt.
There's a lot of stars in the making that could be champs.
Yeah, definitely.
I think it's going to get shaken up like... Come a year from now, it's going to look obviously totally different. Yeah. Switches and stuff. Definitely. Do you think the Aspinall Jones fight happens?
It's got to happen. I was sitting next to Tom the other week at the UFC in London and talking to him about it. I'm like, it's got to happen. There's no way that can't happen.
How do you think that plays out if they fight?
