The Hope Probe successfully made it into the Martian orbit on Feb.09, 2021 making the UAE the first Arab country to reach Mars and the third country worldwide to enter the Martian orbit. In this episode, we celebrate this historical achievement with Engineer Hessa Rashid Al Matroush, the Deputy project manager and science, data and analysis lead for the Hope Probe Mars Mission. She shares with us the different feelings that she experienced alongside her team during that blackout period of the probe as it entered the martian orbit. She also discusses when should we expect the first picture of Mars and the scientific mission that the probe will be on.
