So first off, I just wanna say a huge, huge thank you to everyone that supported season six of the podcast. The final feature length episode was released today for non-subscribers and last week for subscribers.
And it was the longest episode I've ever made, two hours and 45 minutes. You know, I really wanted to make it a feature, like I said, and I normally always do a feature at the end of the season, but that one, you know, really sort of really became the extended feature.
director's cut kind of thing so I hope it didn't drag out too long for you but the feedback I've had from everyone so far has been incredible that you all really enjoyed it and found that final interview riveting so this week we'll have a debrief session where we go over the whole season and of course we'll discuss that final episode Now, moving into season seven.
So season seven will be coming soon. We are currently working on picking a case.
Chapter 2: What can we expect from Season 7 of Guilt?
So the research team is flat out at the moment going through some shortlisted cases before we decide which one we're going to dive into. There's a particular one we're looking at right now, which looks very interesting and could be a whole new type of case for the podcast that we think you could really enjoy. Really love. It is back in New Zealand, as I said.

Chapter 4: What is the current status of Finding Heidi Season 3?
So as promised, I'm going to be releasing the rest of the episodes for season three Finding Heidi end game as it's called. Now I know it's been a long time coming I can't remember even when the last episode came out for that. It must have been a year ago, I would say, or more. Now, the reason I'm having to re-record this is that this is going to come with some challenge.
So I just said on the previous recording that I was going to re-release episode one today of Endgame, and then next week we would do episode two of Endgame, then three of Endgame, and then from there on I would release the final episodes, you know, the ones that have never been heard before. And that would have worked quite nicely.
And anyway, so I just went to release episode one of Endgame and then to re-release it and realized that it was one of the episodes that's been subject to the takedown order as a result of the Supreme Court decision. and I sort of smacked myself in the side of head and said, of course, I completely forgot that that episode was one of the many episodes we had to take down.
And of course, when I looked, episode two was also one of those episodes that was taken down.
Chapter 5: What challenges are faced in releasing Finding Heidi episodes?
Episode three wasn't. So this is going to create a challenge because it means, unfortunately, you're not going to be able to catch yourselves up on Endgame because those episodes are unavailable. It also means quite possibly that I could release episode four of Endgame and it could be immediately subject to a takedown order. The same with episode five, the same with episode six.
which is going to make this really challenging because these final episodes of season three are incredibly complex. There are so many angles to it involved in terms of legal angles, privacy, security, safety, so much. you know, that I have to put into it.
And if I do all of that work and then, you know, I put it up and it gets immediately taken down due to the Supreme Court order, well, that's not going to make anyone happy. It's not going to make me happy. And you as the listener who's been waiting forever, it's not going to make you happy either.
Chapter 6: What are the next steps for the Guilt podcast and its listeners?
So, yeah, I'm just sort of deciding what I'm going to do here. But... You know, I guess I'll go ahead and make these episodes. And as I say this, though, I'm going to do it, but I just want you to consider that it's very possible that these could be taken down. Now, it's not guaranteed because some episodes haven't been requested, but it is possible.
And if that were to happen, you know, that's just all part of this. And, you know, the hope is at some point when... a decision is made whether there's going to be a retrial for David Tamahede or not. And then we'll be able to release these episodes. And I for sure will. So at this point,
just hang tight, I will try and get episode one of, or episode, what we'll do, let me start again, I'll re-release episode three of Finding Heidi Endgame today, and starting next week, episode four, which will be one of the new ones, and then we'll continue on to the end, and If they get taken down, they get taken down. And we can't do much about that. But yeah, I hope you can understand.
