Chapter 1: What is the Ultimate Spring Reset Guide?
If you started this year out with a laundry list of different goals you wanted to achieve, with different ideas you wanted to accomplish, and you haven't done any of it, you're not alone because now is the perfect time to start. Welcome to the Ultimate Spring Reset Guide.

If you are new here, my name is Brianna Gomez and I am your host of Hot and Unbothered, the ultimate podcast for achieving your dream life, for identifying what your dream life looks like and showing up as the dream ideal version of yourself every single day, you guys. And we are a long ways away into 2025. I know it's only been a few months, but honestly, doesn't January 1st seem like so long ago
And also, doesn't January 1st seem like so, so long ago? I don't know. To me, it feels like forever ago. Whatever you did not achieve in the first however many months of this year, that does not define you, okay? I know it's really easy to feel like you're in a slump, to be a little bit ashamed of yourself, to be annoyed with yourself for not showing up for yourself the way that you plan to.
But worry not, you guys. I am here to save the day with the Ultimate Spring Reset Guide. Spring reset is the ultimate time for you to kind of just get a breath of fresh air, a fresh start, a clean slate.
And remember that whatever the beginning of this year looked like for you, whatever last year looked like for you, whatever last month, last week, yesterday looked like for you, that does not define you. And I think it's the perfect time, you guys, because the sun's starting to come out, the birds are chirping, the weather's going to get a little warmer. and it's just a clean slate.
Like, I just am so excited for you, honestly. I want to share with you guys all of the best tips to transform your life this spring, and it's just in time for summer, so that way you can walk into summer feeling refreshed, feeling like you have all this weight lifted off your shoulders, because we're not going to leave those problems for the summertime, okay?
I also have my kitten Snuggles here with me, and I think he's going to have to go soon, because I also have my bunny in my room, and I think he's going to try to play with him. Chapter 2: How can you overcome the mid-year slump?
everything that's been bothering you that keeps popping into your head. There are only a few things that I started this brain dump, like thinking, knowing I was going to write, you know? And then by the end of it, I literally have this long list of things that I need to get done. And it's insane.
I have like, make this cover my cords, like my cords so my bunny doesn't eat them, fix my chair, reply to comments, donate PR, organize my trunk, organize my closet drawers, call grandma, you know, all these crazy things. And I feel, I did this this morning by the way, I feel so much lighter because now I feel like I have a clear vision in front of me of all the things that I need to get done.
And I can look at it and realistically be like, okay, obviously I'm not going to get this all done in a day. But now I've cleared some room in my mind to focus on the tasks at hand. And then I can come back to this list and I can cross things off as I do it.
Because of course my goal is to eventually get these things done, but I also don't want them crowding my mind for the next months on end when it's going to be a while until I actually get it done. So I suggest maybe at the end of each week, each weekend, looking at the list and seeing if you can cross one or two things off if you have some free time.
And the best part is you have no deadline on this. So you don't have to waste your time worrying about it because now you have it on paper. Release these thoughts from your head and just cross them off. And it's so amazing. Something I want you guys to focus on when creating your routine is routine versus ritual.
I want you guys to start trying to do rituals or regimens because there's a routine, right? Something that you do every single day by habit. That's a routine. But a regimen or a ritual is an experience. Because remember, we're practicing intentionality. We're practicing being present with ourselves in this moment and doing things that are showing love to ourselves.
And there is nothing more refreshing than instead of just scrubbing off your makeup and slapping on some lotion, you know, like that's not pleasant and enjoyable.
But if you are really taking the time to use your favorite products, put your spa headband on, massaging the products into your face, you know, really putting on your serums, your face mask, whatever it is that's part of your regimen or your skincare ritual, that is going to make you feel so much more fulfilled. so much more present, so much more refreshed, right?
So these little rewirings in your skincare routine, even just replacing a routine with a ritual is so much more satisfying and fulfilling and you will feel like you're doing this act of self-care for yourself. We've reflected and we've planned and we've created our dream routines.
