Homemade quince liqueur. And we named the liqueur after the person who made it. Yep. And I made a three to one ratio of vodka to quince liqueur. So two parts. Three parts of vodka to one part of quince liqueur.
okay good shake it really hard serve it with an orange twist beautiful it's pretty color yeah it's like an orangey it's quite lovely oh wow you can really taste you can taste the fruit it's very doable do you see how the vodka pulled that liquor from you know because it's made in a base of everclear yeah so it's kind of a really harsh alcohol itself and i like it still straight it's good but this really this softens it in a way where you get to taste the actual fruit it tastes like
fruit yeah it's a fruity martini it's lovely explain how you make the quince liqueur so the quince is made you pick the quince you cut them in half and then you core out the core and then slice them very thin because you want them to start to weep you put them in a big bowl and then you cover it entirely with sugar so make there's no quince showing
And then you let it sit and it's pretty quick cause the quince are juicy and they have a lot of water content in them.

And then you age it for how long? Put it in a cool, dry spot.
It doesn't necessarily have to be refrigerated because it's Everclear. Nothing lives in that. But cool, dry, out of the light spot for about a year. About a year. Yeah. So if someone gifts you this, which is what happened. Yeah.
