Kat was a victim of sex trafficking from the time she was just 13 years old, until the age of 17. Kat grew up in Miami, Florida and experienced trafficking on several, separate occasions. In this episode, Kat talks us through her harrowing story that really pulls back the curtain on what child sex trafficking actually looks like in our world. It was extremely eye opening for us to learn about how different it is to what we imagined sex trafficking was. Kat speaks about what makes certain children vulnerable as 'prey.'She educates us on what the people who organise trafficking are like and how they operate. She is a very resilient and strong woman.
