My Therapist Ghosted Me

Ozempic, The Brits & The Trolley

07 Mar 2025

Description

Do you share Joanne's joy at 'the trolley' being wheeled down the aisle of a train or plane? Perhaps you are as angry as she is if there isn't one. Vogue isn't too bothered, but she is very concerned about having to sit next to a dead person. Fair enough. Plus, the MTGM take on Ozempic and have you written a will yet?If you’d like to get in touch, you can send an email to [email protected] review Global's Privacy Policy: global.com/legal/privacy-policy/For merch, tour dates and more visit: www.mytherapistghostedme.comFor more information about Joanne's gigs, visit: www.joannemcnally.comThis episode contains explicit language and adult themes that may not be suitable for all listeners.

Hello and welcome to My Therapist Goes to Tea with me, Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally. Before we came on, Joanne and I were talking about hair. And I was just told this very morning about a treatment because I was pulling my hair back and I was like, I don't know if it's when you age or whatever. It doesn't really happen. It's happened for some women.

But I've noticed that I feel like I've got less hair on the side of my head. And then you said it about a part of your head. There's some treatment, right, that you go in and...

They basically like roller your head with the microneedling and then they put stuffed serum in it for your hair and then they put, they roller it again and then they put red light therapy over your head and it really promotes hair growth and I'm going to try it.

Yeah. So my hair, my, remember my slag strips, which were basically just bleached straight onto the scalp and my front bits of my hair have, have still yet to recover from the abuse of, I put them through. And as someone who has always had a good head of hair, I'm finding it very...

what I say difficult to witness this thinning at the front and I just I don't want to accept it so I'm wondering what can I do because now that I'm darker as well you can see the scalp more I mean look it's very much first world hair problems but still my makeup artist my makeup artist this morning showed me before and after of her hair and it was a massive difference and she said if you have those you know those red like like that shark mask you have it on I have yeah

111.034 - 132.333 Vogue Williams

What's my own current body? If you just put that on your head supposedly the red light promotes hair growth. Really? No wonder I've got a beard I've always got that mask on. Well, so that's what she said to me. She said it will help promote the hair growth if you just do that. So I'm going to do it like in front. Apparently having kids thins your hair as well.

132.913 - 145.897 Vogue Williams

Well, worse still, when you're pregnant, your hair is like, you've so much hair and you look amazing. And you're like, where did this full head of hair come? And then the kid comes and then it all starts coming out. So I think that that's what happened to the front of my hair.

146.457 - 149.078 Joanne McNally

And you had a huge set of boots when you were pregnant. So pregnancy really suited you.
