I'm good, buddy. I'm kind of feeling some shame. This is the second time in the last, well, this week, that I've blown right through a scheduled hit that I was supposed to do. Same thing happened earlier this week on EST. And now I have monumentally disrespected the Bobfather. It's a blessing. It's a privilege for me to be on this show with him. And I just completely made a stupid mistake.
and uh twice in one week buddy so now the residual benefit is you and i get to do a little on-air stuff together which this is nice this is the first time for you and i so yeah a little little blessing there yeah i i wouldn't sweat it all ryan the amount of grief we've put you through with the uh with the online interviews over zoom and stuff it's all good don't sweat it man uh
Don't Bob that.
I'm not worried about me.
I'm worried about Bob. Okay, okay. All right. Well, a big one tonight. Obviously, game three of the Edmonton Oilers' first-round series with the Anaheim Ducks. What are your thoughts overall on the first two games so far?
I mean, I think the two winners have had some good periods and they've had some bad periods, right? They haven't really been able to sustain their high-end game for, you know, 30, 40, 50 minutes on the night yet. And that's not ideal at playoff time. You know, Aiden, I think you would like to be able to get to your best game more often.

Chapter 2: How has Connor McDavid's performance been affected in the playoffs?
He is the gamer of all gamers, right? You know, from the minute he got back on the ice and we watched him, he was just grinding to get back. And every day, pushing harder and harder. So much so, the physiotherapist was like waving him, like, get off the ice. And he's just smiling as he's defying them.
And so he comes out and I mean, what he did against the Calgary Flames, what he did in the playoffs a few years ago, you know, with the ankle, it really is something to watch. So, yes, he's in fine form right now, considering the injury situation. He's been dragging them along. And you have to think that. McDavid will check into this series tonight.
Again, as much as I'm saying I'd be shocked if the power play were mediocre for three straight games, I'd be even more shocked if Connor McDavid had another quiet night. I really would. I just don't see it. But, again, you've got to give some credit to Allen. So this is going to be a fascinating loss tonight, man.
Yeah. Talking a little bit about the physicality in this series and how there's sort of been a little bit of a lack of it. I mean, Leon's line made Vasily Podkolzin with that huge hit in game two. But apart from that, there hasn't really been any, you know, major scrums after the whistle or anything like that.
And I guess I've been watching the other series and I'm seeing, you know, Tampa Bay and Montreal and seeing ā
Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and it's just absolutely wild to see the physicality what's kind of causing the missing part of that in this series yeah I'm not sure like you know there's there's not a ton of animosity there's not a lot of uh you know not a lot going on after the whistles there's not a lot of like desperation there's not a lot of don't come near my crease or you're gonna pay a price no matter what before or after the whistle like it's
It's reasonably tame compared to some of the other stuff that we're seeing. But it is. Like, it's a young team. They don't have a lot of history against one another. You know, there isn't a history of violence between them. There isn't a history of, you know, it's... They're a young team, and they don't really have those rivalries yet. So I don't know, man.
I think Troy Terry was kind of getting under their skin a little bit. Lots of guys were chirping at him a lot. But, I mean, the guy had no hits all year, which is probably what they were chirping about. You know what I mean? At this point, I would say it just feels like a lot of posturing and nothing that serious.
Yeah, for sure. I want to talk to you about injuries now. I mean, obviously Adam Henrik not available tonight, and Jason Dickinson will be a game-time decision. And Leon was asked about the struggles there at the center depth, but those are some really major hits.
