Today’s Best of Features: (00:00-18:35) – The Athletic’s Zak Keefer joins the show from Las Vegas to explain what life has been like in the city that never sleeps this week. He debates with Jake about Vegas being constantly in the rotation for the Super Bowl. Additionally, Zak shares some of the things that he’s taken away from following the Kansas City Chiefs this week at practice and media day. He also touches on the legacy that Bill Polian has with another one of his players being inducted into the Hall of Fame. (18:35-40:07) – Former Indianapolis Colts General Manager and 2015 NFL Hall of Fame Inductee, Bill Polian, joins Jake Query & Jimmy Cook to share how he felt last night seeing Dwight Freeney be announced in this year’s Hall of Fame class. He also takes us back in time to explain what he saw in Freeney that led to the Colts selecting him with the eleventh pick in the 2002 draft and if playing on turf instead of grass impacted their decision. Finally, he reveals if he ever sat back and realized that Freeney was on a Hall of Fame path during his career and believes that the Colts are a playoff contender if Anthony Richardson is healthy.
