Today’s Best of Features: (00:00-13:45) – Voice of the Indiana Hoosiers, Don Fischer, joins Query & Company and recaps his busy weekend between IU football and basketball. Jake asks him for help with trying to identify what the weakness is with the football team and doesn’t believe the gap is that far between IU and Ohio State. Finally, Jake asks him for his takeaways from yesterday’s exhibition game against Baylor and Don admits that he believes that fans will fall in love with this team. (13:45-40:14) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 joins the show to discuss another blowout victory for the Indianapolis Colts. Mike accesses Jake’s one critique about the Colts performance from yesterday, evaluates the likelihood that the team makes a trade before the deadline next week to address some defensive needs, and compares what we are seeing from Jonathan Taylor to other great running backs that have played for the franchise. (40:14-58:54) – Sports Illustrated’s Matt Veradme joins the show to provide his perspective on the Colts dominance this season. He calls them the best team in the NFL right now because of the way they have been dismantling their opponents this season.
