They look at what it means for the Hoosiers moving forward and if their hopes of making a run in March aren’t what they seem. Later, the impeccable Brandon Gaudin of Fox Sports, Big Ten Network, Madden, Westwood One and now the TV Voice of the Atlanta Braves, joins the show to take us through Marquette’s dominant win over Butler last night and the leadership of head coach Shaka Smart. Plus, Brandon gives us his thoughts on some of the top contenders for the NCAA Title and which team might underperform now that March is upon us. (29:05-40:17) – We’re back from break with Vince and Brian talking on the Pacers win over the Mavericks and the constant debate right now between tanking and fighting for play-in positioning. (40:18-48:57) – Hour number one closes with Brian and Vince discussing which NFL franchise reminds you most of the Indiana Hoosiers. (48:58-1:12:50) – The talented Jeremiah Johnson of Bally Sports Indiana joins the program to take us through his thoughts on the Pacers current road trip in Texas and their win over the Dallas Mavericks last night. Plus, JJ reminds listeners of the Texas roots that a few members of the Pacers hold. Plus, where expectations should be for the Pacers as they make a final push towards the postseason. Also, JJ weighs in on the tanking idea that some Pacers fans are hoping for to better improve the team’s NBA Draft Lottery odds and why it’s just not something that players think about. Also, Vince and Brian remember the life of longtime Director of Media Relations and one of the best in the business David Benner who passed away this afternoon. (1:33:21-1:38:02) – Hour number two closes Brian and Vince discussing the allegations against star Defensive Tackle for Georgia and NFL Draft prospect Jalen Carter. (1:38:03-2:02:31) – The final hour of the show begins with Vince and Brian debating what the Colts should do in the NFL Draft and if it’s worth it to trade up to ensure they get their guy. Plus, the guys look back at previous drafts when teams have traded up and the how it worked out for them. (2:02:32-2:19:29) – The always informative Jess Settles of Big Ten Network joins the show to recap the dominance of Iowa on the road last night against the Indiana Hoosiers. Jess talks on how Iowa dominant from the get-go, went lights out from beyond the arc, and the efficiency each possession from the Hawkeyes. Plus, Jeff shares what he feels is most concerning from the Hoosiers performance last night and if it was a red flag for their March Madness outlook. Additionally, Jess evaluates how challenging it can be to come down from the high of beating a rival like Purdue to face off against Iowa BUT why are too experienced to have the let down that they did. Later, Jess shares what he feels the ceiling is for the Indiana Hoosiers in the NCAA Tournament.
