They share their thoughts on the College Football Playoff games, Indiana picking up a win to start the new year in Milwaukee and praising the Colts offensive line for preventing Gardner Minshew to make inaccurate throws because of being pressured. (29:48-45:00) – Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie all discuss the big issue they had Sunday night with the ball drop. They then transition to the Indianapolis Colts with their playoff hopes on the line this weekend and discussing why the woman was flashing herself in New Orleans during the Sugar Bowl last night. (45:00-50:28) – Hour one concludes with Jake sharing a story pertaining towards New Orleans. (50:28-1:17:24) – Scott Agness from Fieldhouse Files and 1075thefan.com joins Query & Company to access the recent success for the Indiana Pacers defensively, explains why the Pacers still need another wing defender/rebounder/shooter, admits that he wants more rivalries like the glory days of the NBA like the Pacers and Bucks are trending towards, accesses what he has seen from Bennedict Mathurin lately, and praises the way Isaiah Jackson has been able to be impactful in games the last month. (1:17:24-1:34:58) – The voice of IU basketball in Don Fischer makes his weekly stop on Query & Company with Jake and Jimmy to briefly recap the Hoosiers win last week over Kennesaw State. Additionally, Fisch previews the upcoming matchup against Nebraska, states that the confidence of Mackenzie Mgbako is growing with his consistent play, states that Malik Reneau has some of the best footwork he’s seen and provides an update on Xavier Johnson. (1:34:58-1:40:10) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Jake admitting that he feels bad that he does something whenever his mom or dad tell him a story. (1:40:10-2:11:27) – ESPN.com Colts beat reporter Stephen Holder joins Jake and Jimmy on Query & Company to access the offensive line’s performance with Braden Smith back, puts a percentage on how healthy he thinks Jonathan Taylor is right now, reveals if he expects Kenny Moore to return this week in a must win game against the Texans, and details where the Colts have an advantage over the Texans this week that makes him believe they will be in the playoffs next week. (2:11:27-2:20:58) – Over the weekend Indy 500 winner Gil De Ferran passed away. Jake shares a story about him that people don’t really know when it comes to him.
