Query & Company
Colts End Their Three-Game Losing Streak! Mike Chappell and Don Fischer Join!
06 Nov 2023
(00:00-24:25) – Query & Company opens on a Victory Monday with Brian Noe, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison sharing their thoughts on the Colts ending their three game losing streak against the Carolina Panthers. They also discuss the worries they have with the Colts offense after a lackluster performance against a poor defensive team in the Panthers. (24:25-40:19) – Voice of the Indiana Hoosiers in Don Fischer makes his weekly stop on Query & Company to share his thoughts on the passing of Bob Knight last week, his preseason expectations for Mike Woodson’s basketball team without Trayce Jackson-Davis, Race Thompson, and Jalen Hood-Schifino, and deciphers if there is an ounce of optimism that the football team can get three wins to become bowl eligible. (40:19-45:49) – Brian and Jimmy close out the first hour of the show by discussing how bad the timing of Bryce Young’s lackluster performance against the Colts with C.J. Stroud lighting it up yesterday. (45:49-1:08:52) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, of CBS4 and FOX59 joins the program for his weekly visit to recap the Colts win over the Panthers yesterday. Chappell tries to put it into perspective as to where this team would be if they are able to take care of business against the Browns and Saints. Additionally, he was kind of shocked the Colts offense struggled to the levels in which they did yesterday and expects Jonathan Taylor’s touches to be around twenty per game the rest of the season. (1:08:52-1:19:37) – Brian and Jimmy continue the Colts conversation by discussing the Colts offensive output against the Panthers in connection to their upcoming game against the Patriots. They also do a brief dive into the struggling season for New England and how this weekend’s game has the potential to be more exciting than Dolphins/Chiefs. (1:19:37-1:26:50) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Brian and Jimmy discussing the wild ending between the Vikings/Falcons yesterday with Josh Dobbs bringing Minnesota back to win after Jaren Hall exited with a concussion. (1:26:50-1:52:16) – The final hour of the program with Brian, Jimmy, and Eddie starts with them weighing in on how Gardner Minshew has performed this season since taking over for Anthony Richardson. Eventually they start talking the possibility that the Colts make the playoffs with how soft the remainder of the schedule is for Indianapolis. Finally, they examine some of the other teams that are around the Colts that could make the playoffs. (1:52:16-2:03:09) – Brian and Jimmy shift their focus on the upcoming opponent for the Colts in Bill Belichick New England Patriots. They question who their best player is and Brian brings back a sound bite from the Pats head coach making a statement regarding the Colts a few years ago. (2:03:09-2:04:34) – Today’s show ends with Jimmy sharing the JCook Plays of the Day!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
