(26:05-43:29) – Legendary voice of the Indiana Hoosiers in Don Fischer makes his weekly stop on Query & Company to recap the crushing blow that Tom Allen’s team took on Saturday against Illinois in overtime, what’s changed the last couple weeks for the Hoosiers offense, accesses how Kel’el Ware has looked to start the season for Mike Woodson, why he thinks it’s going to take some time before we see IU playing good basketball, and what’s impressed him the most from true freshman Gabe Cupps in the first two games. (43:29-44:23) – Hour one concludes with Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie trying to guess which experience was worse between Germany fans for Colts/Patriots or having to watch Raiders/Jets. (44:23-1:13:05) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, of CBS4 and FOX59 makes his weekly Monday appearance on Query & Company to reveal how concerned he is with Shaq Leonard after Sunday’s performance, discusses how the Colts don’t have a chance at a top ten pick anymore after defeating the Patriots, wishes that DeForest Buckner would receive the national praise he deserves with how dominant he’s been this season, states that he’s curious where this team will end up when factoring their remaining schedule, and if the run defense the last couple games has provided some extra value for Grover Stewart when negotiating a contract after the season. (1:13:05-1:24:41) – Jake comes back from break by recognizing some important community events that are on the horizon with the holiday season weeks ago. He and Jimmy then start discussing if they are encouraged or worried about the Colts after the last two weeks. (1:24:41-1:30:32) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Jake pondering if C.J. Stroud is actually this good or if this is just a really good stretch without a lot of tape for defenses to examine to take away his tendencies. (1:30:32-1:49:48) – The final hour of today’s show starts with the guys continuing their discussion regarding C,J. Stroud because Jake believes that Frank Reich secretly wanted Stroud over Young. Jimmy states that if Stroud turns out being the generational QB from this draft because Chris Ballard was content with either him or Anthony Richardson, then he should receive all the blame for not going up to get him. (1:49:48-2:06:40) – Jake and Jimmy share their thoughts on the Indiana Hoosiers avoiding a terrible loss to Army last night. Additionally, they spend some time talking about Purdue’s game tonight against Xavier. They examine some of the role players around Zach Edey that they are excited to see develop this season underneath Matt Painter with a handful of them in their second year within the program. (2:06:40-2:13:58) – Today’s show ends with Jimmy sharing the JCook Plays of the Day, Eddie sharing a couple bets, Jimmy stating he’s upset that there’s no Pacers basketball.
