Colts/Ravens Joint Practice + Fever Preview! Stephanie White Joins!

(00:00-09:56) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing what they did after the show yesterday and previewing this afternoon’s joint practice between the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts.      (09:56-31:03) – Indiana Fever Head Coach Stephanie White joins Query & Company to preview tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Sparks, compares the togetherness of this Fever team to other team’s she has coached in the WNBA, says there’s no update on Caitlin Clark right now, and reveals when she realized the team was starting to click and figure things out. (31:03-46:23) – Jake concludes the first hour of the show by revealing how he feels about watching the Little League Baseball World Series and the realization he had about Kyle Schwarber after slugging his 40th homer last night. (46:23-1:11:35) – Joel Erickson from the Indianapolis Star makes an appearance on Query & Company to preview the upcoming week for the Indianapolis Colts against the Baltimore Ravens. He reacts to Jake’s theory as to how the Colts should handle Anthony Richardson between now and week one of the NFL season, admits there was one real shock on the unofficial depth chart, and identifies center as a position he will be watching in the first preseason game on Thursday night. (1:11:35-1:19:06) – Earlier in the program when discussing the MLB Hall of Fame, Jake received a text from a listener to help build a case for Jon Lester. Jake debunks the message and then it leads to a conversation at how different MVP’s are crowned in the NFL, NBA, and MLB in the final series/game of the playoffs. (1:27:39-1:49:59) – The Fort Worth Star Telegram’s Mac Engel joins Jake Query to kick off the two o’clock hour of Query & Company to discuss what’s going on with the Micah Parsons situation, how well he knew Myles Turner growing up, if he’s had a chance to chat with him since signing with the Bucks, and discusses how far down the Indianapolis Colts have fallen in relevancy in the NFL since Andrew Luck’s retirement. (1:49:59-2:03:15) – Earlier in the program, Stephanie White provided an update on Caitlin Clark, Jake highlights what she said about her superstar point guard. It leads to a conversation about how teams must balance the attention of players and their impact on winning.
