16 Feb 2023
(00:00-28:28) – Brian Noe and Jimmy Cook open Thursday’s show by congratulating Buddy Hield on setting the single season record for threes made for the Indiana Pacers, why Jimmy was infuriated with the officiating in last night’s IU/Northwestern game, and then dive a little into the Colts after Jimmy’s rant. (28:28-44:13) – UIndy men’s basketball coach Paul Corsaro joins Jimmy Cook and Brian Noe on the Fan Midday Show to explain which areas he thinks his team needs to improve in with their conference tournament nearing, what each of the three seniors mean to the program with Senior Day on Saturday, and what gets him fired up during games that results in him receiving a technical foul. (44:13-50:21) – Hour number one concludes with Brian and Jimmy sharing what their wish list would be for the Indianapolis Colts when the season starts later this year following free agency and the NFL Draft. (50:21-1:19:20) – Big Ten Network’s Dave Revsine joins Brian and Jimmy on a Thursday to give his perspective on why the Indiana Hoosiers weren’t able to pull out the win last night in Evanston against Northwestern, why he doesn’t believe in the notion that the officiating in the conference has led to early exits in the NCAA Tournament, what he thinks IU’s ceiling is in the NCAA Tournament, and how difficult it is to officiate Zach Edey considering his size and strength. (1:19:20-1:32:11) – Brian and Jimmy shift their conversation to a comment made by ESPN’s Ryan Clark that Patrick Mahomes is the third best quarterback of all-time, why Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are saying that it was a rebuilding year, and why they hate the legacy talk with Mahomes being six years into his career. (1:32:11-1:39:07) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Brian and Jimmy playing some comments from Iman Shumpert regarding Buddy Hield’s willingness to take every shot no matter how much space he has. (1:39:07-2:07:12) – The final hour of today’s show starts with voice of the Indianapolis Colts in Matt Taylor joining Brian and Jimmy on the Fan Midday Show to share his thoughts on what he took away from listening and talking to Shane Steichen on Tuesday, if he believes that the Colts could get back in the playoffs next year, has he dove into the quarterback prospects for the upcoming draft, and whether he has a gut feeling on how much movement there will be at the top of the draft. (2:07:12-2:19:35) – Jimmy and Brian shift their conversation back to the Indiana Pacers with the team overcoming a 24-point deficit against the Chicago Bulls and discussing how nice it was to see the team finally put it together to close the game out late. (2:19:35-2:26:17) – Brian and Jimmy conclude today’s show by getting the JCook Plays of the Day along with producer Eddie Garrison’s lone play on the night.Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
