(00:00-24:29) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison sharing their thoughts on the Pacers first loss of the season to the Chicago Bulls last night. They also touch on some of the trades that they have seen in the NFL with the deadline quickly approaching this afternoon. (24:29-43:03) – Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie dive more into players that the Colts could be trading come 4pm eastern this afternoon. They each name a different player that they could see being moved come the deadline. They end the segment with a little bit of a game that Jake made up. (43:03-52:03) – Jake closes out the first hour of the show by quizzing Eddie more on if the person’s name is a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks or Texas Rangers or someone that he went to high school with. (52:03-1:14:05) – The one o’clock hour of the show starts off with Jake spitting some history pertaining to the song coming back from break. It leads to Jake and Jimmy discussing their favorite Halloween costume. This leads to Jake opening the phone lines to take calls on trick or treating, some of their favorite Halloween costumes of all-time, and even have a caller make a Shawshank Redemption reference in honor of Jimmy and Eddie. (1:14:05-1:33:50) – Tony East of Sports Illustrated, Forbes Sports, and Locked on Pacers to recap last night’s loss against the Bulls, if Bruce Brown seems to be the guy that will step up if teams take away Tyrese Haliburton in the fourth quarter, which player could see their role diminish over the course of the season, what he makes of the in-season tournament, and then provides an answer to what his favorite Halloween costume was growing up. (1:33:50-1:40:40) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Jake providing some trivia when it comes to Michael Jackson’s Thriller music video. (1:40:40-2:07:37) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder makes his weekly stop on the program to weigh in on what to make of the Colts defense right now, which three players he could see being traded from the Colts if they were to make a move, shares his opinion on the Montez Sweat trade to the Chicago Bears, reveals why he doesn’t put a lot of stock in the trades that happen on deadline day, deciphers if the Colts would be willing to trade Michael Pittman Jr., and explains why the NBA Trade Deadline is completely different then NFL Trade Deadline. (2:07:37-2:25:10) – Bob Kravitz of Substack joins Query & Company with Jake and Jimmy to access how the Colts will approach the rest of the season after their loss Sunday to New Orleans, if Colts fans have learned enough through eight games as to how things will operate offensively underneath Shane Steichen, where he would rank tight end in terms of offseason needs, what his expectations are this season for the Indiana Pacers, and which person between Michael Pittman Jr., Tom Allen, and T.J. McConnell is most & least likely to be receiving paychecks in Indiana next year.
