(00:00-24:46) – Query & Company opens on another frigid day with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing yesterday’s news that the Indianapolis Colts have hired Lou Anarumo as their defensive coordinator. They also touch on last night’s College Football Playoff Championship Game between Notre Dame and Ohio State. (24:46-36:39) – ESPN’s Ben Baby joins Jake Query and Jimmy Cook to discuss what type of defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo was in Cincinnati, assesses how much of a say he had in Cincinnati with personnel decisions, believes that the front office didn’t assist him in replacing some key veterans the last two seasons, and labels the secondary as the most important position group in an Anarumo led defense. (36:39-46:00) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Jimmy discussing the upcoming two games for the Indiana Pacers in Paris against the San Antonio Spurs. They debate on what the team should do with the trade deadline nearing. (46:00-1:07:57) – Stephen Holder from ESPN makes his weekly appearance on the program to share his thoughts on the Colts hiring Lou Anarumo yesterday. Once they finish pondering that, Jake asks Jimmy to share his emotions about Notre Dame’s loss to Ohio State.
