They share their overall thoughts on the win for the Pacers and touch on Team Penske’s domination in qualifications over the weekend for the Indianapolis 500. (22:17-43:35) – Four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Rick Mears joins Query & Company from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to discuss the domination from Team Penske yesterday at qualifications, shares why he believes he was so humble about all his wins in his career at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, agrees with Jake that the race is the easiest part of the month, and reveals how often he and Gordon Johncock talk about the finish to the 1982 Indianapolis 500. (43:35-44:52) – Hour one concludes with Jake and Jimmy previewing some of the things that they will talk to Dustin Dopirak about.
