08 Apr 2025
(00:00-24:31) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison recapping last night’s NCAA Tournament Championship game between Florida and Houston. Additionally, Jake previews the start of the final week of the regular season for the Indiana Pacers against the Washington Wizards. (24:31-37:41) – With the college basketball season over, Jake and Eddie have a conversation about the transfer portal and NIL. They wonder if the NIL money that people provide collectives with will eventually dry up because they become frustrated with giving money to schools that haven’t won despite having one of the best budgets. (37:41-46:30) – The first hour of the program concludes with Jake sharing the names of the winners from the NCAA Tournament numbers game! (46:30-1:14:15) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder joins Jake Query to access Jake’s take on the Indianapolis Colts taking a hard look at selecting a quarterback in the middle rounds of the upcoming draft. Stephen also explains how the prospects get selected for the local pro day the Colts are putting on today and then addresses where edge rusher ranks on the positions of need for Indianapolis. (1:14:15-1:27:07) – Will Haskett from PGA Tour Radio joins Query & Company to preview The Masters Tournament. He evaluates the chances of Jake’s long shot to put on the green jacket this weekend. Will describes what type of golfer could win this weekend between the course and weather conditions and goes through his tiers of golfers for this weekend. (1:27:07-1:32:46) – Hour number two concludes with Jake discussing something he noticed that happened at the end of the first half in last night’s national championship game. It leads to Eddie sharing something that frustrates him about college basketball that could have had a huge impact on the outcome of last night’s game. (1:30:17-1:55:55) – Scott Agness from Fieldhouse Files joins the program to preview the final four games of the Indiana Pacers schedule in terms of what they need to show prior to the playoffs. Scott also assesses which team he’d rather face between Milwaukee and Detroit, weighs in on Denver’s decision to part ways with Michael Malone and Calvin Booth, and still believes that Pascal Siakam needs another night off to recharge before the postseason. (1:55:55-2:07:54) – Jake comes back from break and provides an update on our NCAA Tournament numbers game! He commends the winner of the game for surrendering his winnings to the person who had Houston. (2:07:54-2:21:21) – Today’s show closes with Jake revealing which team he would not be surprised to see win the NCAA Tournament based off what he saw over the course of the season. Finally, JMV joins the guys in studio to share his thoughts on last night’s championship game.Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
