(00:00-25:26) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, producer Eddie Garrison, and in-studio guest Steve Wagner discussing the Indiana State Sycamores advancing to the NIT Final Four. They also preview tonight’s Pacers game against the Bulls. (25:26-38:01) – At the end of last segment, there was some breaking news about the Louisville basketball coaching job. Jake and Jimmy discuss how odd it is that it took Louisville this long to fill the position. Additionally, they preview Purdue’s upcoming Sweet Sixteen contest against Gonzaga on Friday evening. (38:01-43:20) – Hour one concludes with Jake, Jimmy, and in-studio guest Steve Wagner continuing their conversation about Purdue vs Gonzaga. (43:20-1:06:21) – Jeremiah Johnson from Bally Sports Indiana joins the program from Chicago to applaud the recent play of T.J. McConnell since Bennedict Mathurin’s injury, what he expects to see from the Pacers defensively against DeMar DeRozan tonight, states that the Pacers need to win 47 games to avoid the play-in tournament, believes Tyrese Haliburton is out of his slump after two nice shooting games from three-point range, and accesses where the Pacers are missing Bennedict Mathurin. (1:06:21-1:20:43) – Following their conversation with Jeremiah Johnson, Jake and Jimmy rehash their conversation at the beginning of the show about Indiana State heading to the NIT Final Four.
