Purdue/USC Preview + Is Indiana's Season Over? Sam King and Tony East Join!

(00:00-23:31) – Query & Company opens on a Thursday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison talking about Indiana’s NCAA Tournament chances entering this afternoon’s game against Oregon. Jake also shares a story about his experience when he went grocery shopping last night. (23:31-36:08) – Sam King from the Lafayette Journal & Courier joins Jake Query to answer what the biggest question is about the Purdue Boilermakers heading into their Big Ten Tournament game tonight against USC. Sam identifies C.J. Cox as a guy that needs to step up during March to allow this Purdue team to make a run in the tournaments and previews tonight’s game against USC. (36:08-40:35) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie give away a pair of tickets for a listener to go see Mary J. Blige and Ne-Yo at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in April! (40:35-1:07:19) – Hour number two of the program starts with Jake and Eddie providing an update on the Colts free agents that have signed new contracts and the free agents that haven’t. Jeff Rabjohns then calls into the show from Gainbridge Fieldhouse to provide a first half recap of the IU game against Oregon, shares what they need to do in the second half and details the fan turnout. (1:07:19-1:15:01) – For the first time in the show, Jake and Eddie discuss the upcoming road trip for the Indiana Pacers that starts tomorrow night in Philadelphia. They discuss if they believe Tyrese Haliburton will be held out on Friday night but play on Saturday night in Milwaukee. (1:15:01-1:25:52) – Hour number two concludes with Jake and Eddie give away a pair of tickets for a listener to go see Mary J. Blige and Ne-Yo at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in April! (1:25:52-1:46:19) – Tony East from Locked On Pacers and Forbes Sports joins Query & Company to provide his input on whether Tyrese Haliburton will play tomorrow night against the Philadelphia 76ers. Tony also evaluates the Pacers without Haliburton running the offense, what they need to add in the off-season to help improve the team around Haliburton, and admits that he’s never attended an Indianapolis 500, but does listen to every race with his friends. (1:49:51-2:00:19) – With Indiana’s season potentially over, Jake looks at the teams that are around them according to Joe Lunardi’s bracketology. He explains which IU fans need to root for, if they want the Hoosiers to make the NCAA Tournament. (2:02:37-2:09:48) – Today’s show closes in a somber way with Jake finding out seconds before we come back from break that sports columnist and author, John Feinstein, passed away today.
