28 Sep 2023
(00:00-26:10) – Query & Company opens on a Thursday with Jake Query and Jimmy Cook discussing the Damian Lillard trade that broke during yesterday’s show. They transition to the fallout of where Jrue Holiday could end up because Jake feels like he would be a good fit in Indianapolis with Tyrese Haliburton. (26:10-46:11) – Will Haskett from PGA Tour Radio joins Query & Company to preview the start of the Ryder Cup tomorrow morning, if Europe has an advantage by making the course the way they want to in order to put USA in a difficult spot to win, predicts which rookie will have the best weekend, and hands out some bets for this weekend that he likes. (46:11-47:00) – Jake and Jimmy close out the hour by previewing their conversation with Eric Edholm. (47:00-1:10:58) – Stu Jackson from TheRams.com joins Jake Query & Jimmy Cook for the Thursday Road Trip to Los Angeles to take a dive into the Colts opponent this week in the Rams. Stu explains how Puka Nakua was able to develop a strong connection with Matthew Stafford as a rookie, believes Kyren Williams can be a work horse running back beyond this season for Sean McVay’s team, and shares his concerns regarding the offensive line when it comes to protecting Stafford long enough to give him time to deliver passes to his playmakers. (1:10:58-1:28:15) – Marian Knights Head Coach Ted Karras Jr. joins Query & Company to recap their big win two weeks ago before the bye week, how the team spent the bye week last week, explain what the team needs to improve on offensively, highlights some of the best players on the roster with his team ranked fifth in NAIA, and compares this team to the 2012 national championship team. (1:28:15-1:33:01) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Jake asking a multitude of questions about Knights and genies. Jimmy and Eddie try to provide answers but aren’t able to fully deliver. (1:33:01-2:04:53) – The final hour of the show starts with the radio voice of the Indianapolis Colts, Matt Taylor, providing an update on Anthony Richardson and Ryan Kelly’s status ahead of Sunday’s game, accesses how the Rams could exploit the Colts defense, ranks where Sunday’s broadcast ranks among the games he’s called, and how much longer until fans start talking about Bernhard Raimann in the way fans used to talk about Anthony Castonzo. (2:04:53-2:10:51) – Yesterday during Inside IU Football, a fan approached Tom Allen with a plea to fire offensive coordinator Walt Bell. Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie react to the fans plea and summarize some of their thoughts around their four OT win over Akron. (2:10:51-2:16:38) – Today’s show ends with Jimmy sharing the JCook Plays of the Day and Eddie wishing his parents a Happy Anniversary. Plus, Jake shares his latest frustrations with Amazon Prime.Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
