(00:00-26:33) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing how nice the weather is today. They then discuss tonight’s game between IU and Purdue by comparing Purdue’s football season to IU’s basketball season. (26:33-36:20) – At the end of the previous segment, Jake and Jimmy started discussing whether the Pacers would trade Bennedict Mathurin or not. They continue that conversation during this segment because Jimmy is adamant that it would be a bad decision for the Pacers. (36:20-47:41) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Jimmy shifting their focus back to Purdue vs Indiana by identifying a Purdue player they always disliked growing up watching them face the Hoosiers. Additionally, they identify a Purdue player that they secretly liked. (47:41-1:15:46) – Kevin Harlan joins Query & Company to preview Super Bowl 59. Kevin identifies Saquon Barkley as the biggest factor in the game next Sunday, explains why he will always call the Super Bowl trophy the Vince Lombardi Trophy despite Bill Belichick suggesting it should be named the Tom Brady Trophy, and shares a couple of storylines that he will touch on during his broadcast next Sunday. (1:15:46-1:29:50) – With tonight being such a critical game for the Indiana Hoosiers, Jake and Jimmy try to find a way that the Hoosiers can pull off the upset. They look at things from the Purdue perspective as well by examining what they should be doing to defeat Indiana. (1:29:50-1:37:08) – Hour number two concludes with Jake and Jimmy wondering how many people hate listening to their voice. Also, Jake has Jimmy submit his prediction as to why Ryan Cline couldn’t join the program today. (1:37:08-2:06:15) – Kevin Bowen from the Wake-Up Call with KB & Andy joins the program to provide his take on Indiana at Purdue tonight. He highlights some things that he’s always intrigued by when these two teams meet. Plus, he identifies three Colts players that he would bring back that are free agents and opines on Anthony Richardson’s decision to work with Chris Hess this offseason. (2:06:15-2:15:38) – Jake and Jimmy revisit a conversation from earlier in the show as to why the Pacers could be trading Bennedict Mathurin. Additionally, they make a strong case for the Pacers to not make any trades until the season is over.
